Alpha brings a more bespoke approach to renovations, attic conversions and custom carpentry, with an emphasis on thoughtful design.
Having worked together across a number of projects, the teams recognised the opportunity to bring these strengths together: experienced construction delivery, precise craftsmanship and a more considered approach from start to finish.
That approach became Oak & Steel.

Alex King
DirectorAlex has over 10 years’ experience delivering attic conversions, extensions and bespoke carpentry, with a real eye for the finished details. He leads teams on site with a practical, efficient approach, and ensures the clients needs are met - always.
Project leadDessie Gibbons
Dessie brings extensive experience across new builds, residential, commercial and healthcare projects, along with a background in fire protection. He knows what it takes to manage complex construction work from start to finish.
DirectorRobert Manning
Rob brings extensive experience managing construction projects, from design and budgets to site teams and delivery. He also lectured at UCD Smurfit’s MSc in Project Management, bringing that same depth of knowledge to the team and the day-to-day running of Oak & Steel.
